Someone recently asked me, "Event photography? You're doing drones, strategic communications, public involvement, and construction diversity, what's with event photography?"

The reason is simple - when l left the public sector two years ago, I wanted to be able to do creative things with my own hands. I loved government, but wanted to go beyond meetings, budgets, paperwork, personnel issues, policy debates and the like. I needed my business model to allow me to produce cool and beautiful things on my own.

Advanced technology and computer software processing are essential, but they still take a back seat to creative inspiration and the photographer's eye for the craft.
